Privacy policy for this website
The short version
- You don't need an account, and we don't ask for your name, email or bank details.
- Bills, income and budgets you enter in the online tracker are saved only in your browser's local storage on your device. They're never sent to us or anyone else.
- Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and aren't sent anywhere, unless you choose to share a result link, which puts the inputs in the link itself.
- We measure how the site is used (pages visited, buttons clicked) without identifying you, to improve it.
- We don't sell or share personal information, and there are no ads on this website.
Data stored on your device
The online tracker keeps your bills, income, budgets and settings (currency, theme) in local storage under this website's address. You control it completely: delete it with "Delete all data" in the tracker's Data tab, or by clearing site data in your browser. Downloaded backups, CSV and calendar files are saved wherever you choose. Keep them somewhere safe, as they contain your bill details.
Usage measurement
A small first-party script operated by DixonAppStudio LLC records page visits and clicks on outbound links and buttons: the page address, the referring page, the button or link label, and the time. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't record anything you type.
We also use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies to count visits and sessions and reports aggregated usage to us. Google's use of this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and reliability, for a limited period.
Links to app stores and other sites
Links to the App Store, Google Play and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies.
Children
This website isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.
Your rights
Because we don't hold personal information about you from this website beyond the aggregated measurement above, there's usually nothing for us to access or delete. If you have a question or request, email support@dixonappstudio.com, and we'll respond within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above and, for significant changes, note it on this page.
